P7700 NRW file size

I wonder why file size has increased so much from P7000 to P7700. The average increase is 67% (from 15/16MB to 25/26 MB), although the number of pixels has increased by only 20% (from 10M to 12M) in full resolution (4000 x 3000). Does this has to do with NRW not being compressed? (Anyway, I don´t know if it was in the P7000). This information is not in the user manual, neither I could find it elsewhere. Any comments appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
It was once discussed in this "first impressions" post,
"Raw Files – are 25 MB !! Why twice as big as the D700?"
"The D700 supports 6 RAW formats, 3 12-bit and 3 14-bit. The 12-bit formats are uncompressed (file sizes of about 20MB and larger), compressed (file sizes from about 10 to 12MB) and compresses-lossless, which are slightly larger than compressed.
"Just guessing, but the P7700's RAW files may be uncompressed. If so, the reason may be because compressing them could tremendously slow down the P7700 writing to the memory card because it doesn't have a CPU nearly as fast as the D700 . . ."
