Need high IQ, but lightweight camera for backpacking - what would you recommend

Ricoh GR, if I had the money.

For hiking and landscape photography I think the fixed FL of 28mm equivalent is no problem.

It is very small and light and has excellent IQ from the APS-c sensor.

I will go hiking for a week in the Alps mid July, probably just stick to my ancient P&S. But temptation is high!


PS Just realized,this post is quite old. Well, so this is a general statement.
