Hello! So I'm pretty sure I asked something similar here in the forums, but for the last time to clear things up for me. Right now I am shooting with Canon T3i, with the kit 18-55 and 75-300. I also have a 50mm 1.4 that is in repair right now. I'm looking to buy a Sigma 10-20 very soon so that will cover the wide angle of my bag. Now, I'm interested in purchasing an L lens to replace the kit. Since I already will have an ultra wide lens, and a 50mm 1.4, which will be the best for me? To get the 24-105 for the reach and IS, or the 17-40 for its sort of similar range as the kit 18-55 (it obviously really isn't similar but in terms of focal length.) What do you think?

These two lenses were designed for Full Frame bodies. For Rebel bodies there are better alternatives. The best it seems to be the EF-S 17-55 f2.8 IS. Then you should change the 75-300, which IQ is poor, for the 70-200 f4 L.
