Actually, in Aperture there is a way to do this that I just thought of.  Choose both pictures you want to work on.  Change to Full Screen.  Bring up the adjustment HUD.  Use the Red color picker in the Color brick to click on the face you want to change.  Adjust the "range" of that color to be fairly narrow.  Now just slide the sliders to match the other face.  There might be a way to automate this function that I haven't yet thought of.
