What about Galaxy S4 Zoom?
What about Galaxy S4 Zoom?
Jun 22, 2013
All the reaction on this forum seems to be about the Galaxy NX, but nobody's posted anything about the Galaxy S4 Zoom camera/phone--which I think is a much more important innovation for Samsung than the Galaxy NX. I already have an NX20, so the Galaxy NX doesn't offer much of interest to me. The Galaxy camera seemed nice, but the lack of ability to use it as a phone made it seem less attractive because it would have required a user to lug both it and a phone around. Now that there's a 16 megapixel 10X zoom camera attached to a phone, I'm finding myself becoming very interested. Given the maxim, "The best camera is the one you have with you," this one looks like a keeper. Most people always carry a phone around, and those who do and are interested in photography should be very interested in having a high quality camera attached to their phone rather than the kind of camera all other smart phones come with. I'm looking forward to reading some reviews and finding out if my provider AT&T will be offering the Galaxy S4 Zoom any time soon.
