Nikon S9500 vs Canon SX280
I posted this on the Canon Powershot forum as well.
I was planning on buying the SX280, but the battery issue when using video scared me off and I bought the Nikon S9500. The S9500 is nice, but too "dumbed down" in that it does not let me set the aperture or shutter speed or any manual control, all of which I miss. I am thinking of returning the Nikon and getting the 280, but is that the right choice. I do not care much for video, but if it is on the camera, I will use it and expect it to work. 95% of anything I do is non-video.
Any suggestions? Return the S9500 and get the SX280 or just keep the S9500?
I did look at a Panasonic ZS25 but didn't like the feel of its controls with my large fingers and hand.
