I see this said a lot and not sure I 100% agree.

While you can get skin tones perfect, what happens to other colors in the shot if there are color shifts in play? I've had cases where I could get the skin tones nice, but then hair color got weird, especially on women with colored hair. It's possible this hair color issue I have ran into is partly due to metamerism? I still believe while a color in one part of an image can be fixed, if there are color shifts from what was in front of the camera to what the recording device stores on certain channels, you can't fix one part without breaking another.
