I find with the 200-400 there is a shift in the point of focus going from closer than 10m to further out. Example @ 400mm 5m away F4 I need a correction of +10 but beyond the 10m mark I need no correction.

This is amplified when I use the 1.7 con. I need a correction of +20 while also having +10m global correction. Beyond 10 meters all I need is the +10

This shot was taken with the 1.7 con at 650mm with the FC used I was able to capture very satisfactory detail wide open at 30mm

At some time I will upload some photos take at 300m with the combo testing my FC
