Re: 200-400 f/4.0 1.4x - My hands on review and samples.
nice shots, they look very good considering being indoor! i was debating whether to get this lens or get the new 600mm f4II and i opted for 600mmII for birding and wild life! the only concern i had with this 200-400mm zoom was its reach, which is pretty limited. i do have the new both canon extenders and they work with the new primes extremely well. i just received my 600mm f4II and 1Dx camera from B&H, they both look awesome when i unpacked them an hour ago 600mm II doesn't feel very heavy but i am sure it will feel heavy if used for long hours without a mono-pod or tripod. i'll take both for a try to the coast this weekend and post some sample shots if i am happy with them
cheerz.
