Ok. I think I will go with the following first 2 lenses for now, and get the third if I decided I still want it after playing around with the others for months.

1) 15-85 IS (I like the reviews of the 17-55/2.8, but not enough to warrant the almost $500 upgrade and the lack of range. If I find it on-sale i will get it).

2) 70-200/4L with IS.

3) 10-22 ( I do want to shoot wide, but if first lens is enough, I will look at some primes then.)

I plan on purchasing lens 1 in next 2 weeks. Lens 2 will take a while to save up for and doubt I will have it before my trip. I will sell or trade in my kit lens of 18-135mm IS, but keep the filters incase I want them for the 70-200/4L with IS as I believe they are both 67mm.

Thoughts?

Thank you all for your feedback and guidance. I learned a lot from just this one thread.

I think this is a good plan.  When I had my 15-85 on my 7D, I rarely felt the need to go wider.  And the 70-200 f/4L IS is a great lens, as long as 200mm is enough for your purposes.
