Photo file management with Windows 8
Just installed W8 and I like it a lot, I've put the OS on an SSD along with photoshop elements, for all the rest of the programs and files I have a couple of HDDs on the PC. I figured one will be my primary HDD for programs/files HDD and the other for backup files.
Now it gets a bit confusing, coming from XP, (dont laugh) and previously without an SSD, things are a bit different, and there is a lot more flexibility for file management. I've googled a couple of different methods for handling User folders and My Pictures folder and but then there's this whole Public folder business and not to mention the Library concept. However, they never really get into it from a photo enthusiast's persepective.
Anyhow, you've probably discussed to no end, but do you have any suggestions?
