Re: Nikon 35-135 mm AF

Schipp,

I bought my 35-135 back in '90 when I bought my N8008s. It was my only lens until I went digital with the D300 and the 16-85. It's been a pretty good lens, generally speaking. I've had some pretty sharp shots, IMHO, with mine. However, I almost never use it now, partly because I now have a 70-300 and partly because I think it may be a bit misaligned. At times, I get a nice clean and sharp shot, but other times, not so much. I don't recall many details on that as it's been quite a while since I've actually used it. IIRC, over here on this side of the pond, they're not going for all that much money. Mayhaps you have a good deal, particularly if yours is in really good shape, as you indicate. In any case, I think you will be pretty satisfied with it on your D300.

Enjoy!

Sam
