Now you're going a bit too far. There would be no reason to use Cannons on Nikon Service centers. That would be tremendously dangerous as well and could land you in big trouble if you hurt someone. Even finding the large amounts of black gun powder needed and forging iron balls is a bit overboard.

Also, you should spend some time in the other brand forums and listen to the complaints about their service and warranty before thinking anything worse about Nikon. Remember also, forums often attract one time members who move from website to website complaining. I'm not saying it's true here, but it can give the wrong perceptions.

Notice though, the OP joined on June 1 and hasn't been back to DPR. That's fairly common.
