Terminology - Or is there a difference?

refurbished versus reconditioned?
surely life isn't so boring as to come down to this?
I got curious when I rec'd the lens I purchased as refurbished and saw that it was marked reconditioned. The internet search and eBay seemed to imply that a reconditioned labeled product was one that was brought to factory specs by factory employees using factory, new or used parts at a manufacturers facility.
The description for refurbished on the other hand implied the product was refurbished to factory spec by factory trained people using appropriate new or used parts and at locations other than the factory.
My lens seemed as new. I am happily surprised, therefore the question and yes life is good!
