(eye rolled) This is an rather unfair comparison.  The answer is rather simple:

  • Nikon D800E = No Low Pass Filter
  • Ricoh GR = No Low Pass Filter
  • NEX 6 = Low Pass Filter that soften the image to eliminate moire 

If you compare a Low Pass Filter (Nikon D7000) vs a No-LPF (Nikon D7100), the result is similar.

here is what canon has to said about it:

"Eliminating the low-pass filter would result in better image sharpness......"
