Really surprising thing about third party Power2000 BLS-1/5 batteries

I had a Power2000 brand 1800 mah battery included with my E-PM2 purchase which has been a good while now (battery manufacture date of late 2011).  Whatever the case, it has held shelf life and charge very well, and provides perhaps better battery life compared to the Olympus brand battery.  This is opposite of my experience with Canon DSLR batteries which also have 3rd parties claiming higher capacity, but always falling short on both life and charges, etc.

They report charge well and charge in the OEM charger, I just shot easily over 350+ without losing a bar from full power (the E-PM2 is only rated around 350 shots).  I was shooting a 45mm 1.8, VF-3, and no IBIS.  Surprised with my findings today I googled this battery and also found other user reports that this battery is the real deal.  Not sure if other 3rd party brands have similar success.  Having such good battery life in a tiny P&S camera that shoots 8 fps burst with great DR and low-light capability is amazing.  Really lenses like the 45mm 1.8, and cheap but good accessories/batteries should really make the E-PM2 gold worthy compared to any competitor.

Here are a few I took today

Canon EOS M Canon EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM
Olympus PEN E-PM2
