I searched for a direct comparison for the Panasonic FL 360L vs. Panasonic FL 360 for my GH3, but did not find it. Can anyone who owns a GH3 and one of these 2 units weigh in?

The FL 360 is a pretty old model now, and is the twin of the Oly FL36, which was subsequently replaced by the FL36R, adding wireless capabilities. The Oly FL36R has been replaced by the Oly FL600R, which is the twin of the new Panasonic FL 360L.  I recently replaced my FL36 with an FL600R, for use with my G5.  You definitely don't want to buy the older flashes mentioned.  The new units use 4AA, and provide dramatically faster recycle times.  And they also provide wireless capabilities with the GH3.

By the way, it shouldn't matter whether you get the Oly or the Panasonic version of the flash.  They should both be fully compatible.

DMW fl360l it is Wireless TTL, ( not just wireless, big tech difference).

I think we should open a new thread on this little toy.
