As a lazy jpg shooter, I appreciate that my DSLR allows me to manually adjust the shot as I want it with ease when I take it (just as in film days). Indeed one could argue that RAW is even more important for camera phones and compacts, with their limited dynamic range and limited possibility to change settings.
