Why are DSLRs left home 90.2% of the time

The really strange part is that they somehow take more than 80% of my shots.

And do you know what's even stranger than that?  They take more than 95% of the shots I print.

Very true - as with lenses it is not only about the percentage of shots you take with them, but also the value you attach to them.

I only take a minority of shots with my EF 100-400mm L IS and mostly it is not with me. However, the shots I take with it (on dedicated wildlife and birding excursions) I definetely do not want to miss...
