A travel lens that beats the Tamron 18-270 PZ?

I agree to that. The 18-270 PZD is just so convenient, that I use it a lot, in spite the disadvantages and the fact you have to post process a lot of the pictures (in most cases only some barrel / puncushion distortion correction).

I pack the Sony DT 35mm f/1.8 SAM in additiion to the Tamron 18-270 PZD in the camera bag, just for the cases that the Tamron just doesnt cut it.
