However that's not a fault in the design of the camera, its the fault if the user for not wearing glasses. You wouldn't blame the printing press for making the type too small in your newspaper or the watchmaker for making the numerals too small.

Yeah, that's fair enough for newspapers when you are reading for long periods. You can buy a watch with bigger numerals though.

I'm bound to say DC's are different. DC's are modern tools, and when the industry decided to abandon OVF's on most small cameras and replace them with LCD's (which are inferior in some respects), they immediately required reading glasses wearers to perform circus tricks akin to a music hall farce, all day long. Some performance!

I like LCD's in principle, but even with glasses worn they simply don't deliver visibility in all conditions that previous technology did quite well. EVF's are the answer, well done Pana with the built-in on the LF1.
