Pixel peeping is using 100% crops and similar techniques to identify flaws that have no effect on the photograph under real-world conditions. This technique is used to determine flaws or authenticity to images. Photographers mostly use this technique to determine the hidden flaws. I agree with Cailean Gallimore. Many photographers use this technique to repeatedly correct their images even if they are good enough to be loved by the audience. A picture that looks perfect at its actual pixel doesn’t need pixel peeping unless you are obsessive about making unnecessary corrections.
