Actually I enjoy both aspects.  Sometimes photos are great to shoot and use, but there are other times video provides so much more than photos could ever do.  Whether or not photographers want it or not, there era of better video capabilities by cameras is here and it is going to continue to get both better and more widely used by amatures and professionals (plus those in between).   I have thousands and thousands of photos and I wish I had a lot more (good) video from various events and trips I have taken.

This reminds me of when I went to Europe in 2003 and took a small Olympus (film) compact with me. The compact died after about 2 weeks so I replaced it with a good quality Sony handycam. I now have an excellent (though long!) record of my 4 month tour.
