I have a small case for my FZ200 and a small belt case for my LX7.  Together they don't take up much space.  But if you have to take only one you have to think about what you are going to shoot.  I think about the old SLR days and my favorite lens was a 28mm to 100mm constant F4 lens and I was very happy with the reach with that lens back then.  When I think of that and if I could only have one?  LX7!  When you need iso1600 with the FZ200 the LX7 only needs iso400.  Much better image in the same low light with the LX7.
