Hoping for a Sony riposte to the Ricoh GR and Nikon A

I love small high quality compacts. Think golden years of film cameras like the Contax T2 and Ricoh GR1 these were the ultimate compact camera. I bought into the NEX system for similar reasons...a compact digital camera with a big APS-C sensor. My NEXC3 with 16mm f2.8 pancake went close...sadly it's now gone (stolen).

I now have the NEX6 with SEL35f1.8 and am enjoying it's usability and quality. Its a great camera. but its not a compact camera...I see it as more as a small SLR.

I'm now eyeing the new Ricoh as my quality take anywhere compact camera. But knowing Sony's desire to fill every market niche I would imagine a RX??? would be on the cards.

Main wish list items are:

* APS-C sensor in a compact truly pocketable camera

* Fixed, fast (f2.0) prime lens eqv to 28mm, 35mm or 40mm (with ability to crop from i.e 28mm to 35mm)

* Optical VF or EVF...or both!

Also weather proof would be nice!

Anyone else wish/want something like this? Any additions to the wish list?
