... I also feel that the highlights do not have an gentle falloff to clipping. This may be just me. But I was asking if there was an improvement in DR with the NX300.
I cannot agree on the shadow part but the falloff is not as gentle as on others. You can use SmartRange so that you get a smother roll off but there (and only there) you can get into issues when trying to boost the blanks.
BTW: the NX20 at least to me has more reserves within shadows versus e.g. the Sony or OMD
My take is that you worry bit less about the absolute DR number but how many f-stops you can boost highlights or shadows....
