Australian Monitor Lizard Goanna with the XZ-1

As promised earlier with the bearded dragon images here are some of a Goanna, approximately 120cm long.Previously thought non venomous  researchers have now found that they have venom ducts which release toxins straight to to jaw rather than through hollow fangs like snakes.

This individual is still growing up to six feet long as an adult.

respect those sharp claws

Blending in with the surrounds

yup that's the end of it's tail , note gloved hand just in case it becomes a "drop lizard"

Maybe its time to get a TCON !
