Brief scoring of the XP1 after 7500 shots...
1

An overall great satisfaction

A/- Some bad points given the price tag :

-lack of weather sealing

-battery capacity

-very imprecise frame of OVF with the 35mm

-slow AF in dim light at 55mm of the zoom (f4) where 60mm focuses well This could be a serious concern with the new tele at 200mm f 4.8, needs to be carefully checked

-lack of built in diopter adjustment makes interchangeable photographer very difficult

-Incredibly badly implemented Auto ISO

B/- Special mention for some highly positive points :

-colors,light, contrast, shadows and highlights

-DR

-Very handy after learning curve, very easy to handle, light, easy to grip even afters a long time shooting

-very good light metering, WB, TTL flash

-Unintrusive in crowd especially with 18mm or CV 15mm
