Re: What other software supports Abobe plugins?

While I do not like Adobe's change from outright ownership to a subscription or rental option, I think there is tremendous misunderstanding out there.  You still download the actual physical version of Photoshop to run locally on your computer.  You do not use a "cloud" application that requires you to be connected.  You only have to connect once a month so Adobe can "check" to see if you have paid.  They offer to allow you to store some images on their Cloud server, but you do not have to.  You can store them locally.  You always have the option to access those local files with any other software.  Also, because you have the physical program present on your drive, you can continue to use any plugins you currently use.  But more and more, photographers are doing most of their work in a "Workflow" enhancer program like Lightroom, Apple's Aperture, or Corel's AfterShot Pro.  At least Lightroom and Aperture are compatible with most plugins.

Only my opinion. It's worth what you paid for it. Your mileage may vary! ;-}
