You might have no doubts, but I definitely do.

IMO if the people in the OP's photo fulfill those requirements, then it speaks poorly for street photography as a photographic genre.

I'm not sure what anyone is supposed to get from the photo. The people themselves are not particularly interesting and there is nothing telling or revealing. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it.

What you don't seem or don't want to understand is, that it is a first effort with street photography.

No master ever fell from heaven, it is hard work to get there. Same applies to landscape, macro, portrait photography, you name it.
