Street photography is so hard. You have to take a successful photo (composition, lighting, subject matter, interest, exposure) in seconds, in public. And you get zero points from the viewer of the photo for degree of difficulty.

Color adds such a monkey wrench to the whole works that most Street photographers abandon it altogether. Notable exceptions are Saul Leiter, Fred Herzog, and Ernst Haas who also used telephoto prime lenses more than occasionally.
