In absolute terms, that's true.

They all give identical magnifcation.

That certainly depends.

All of the ones he mentioned go to 1:1.

Yes ... at their minimum focusing distance.

That can mean one hell of a difference. If you can only go so close, the 105 mm may have a magnification of, say, 1:3, but the 150 mm goes to 1:2.

That must be taken into consideration when choosing between different focal lengths.

I have both 50 mm and a 200 mm macros because sometimes it's not possible to use the 200 mm in tight spaces.
