Not only that, but the E-PM2+kit+40-150 is even less expensive, at least on Amazon. How does that work?

Others have mentioned the aperture difference, but the 45 is also a very, very sharp lens. At $345 it is a bargain. We're lucky they made it plastic, cheap and good rather than metal, expensive and average.
