Telephoto Lens for Olympus OM-D E-M5

Almost any of the ones mentioned here...

as long as it's on a tripod or monopod.  At the far ends of any of the lenses mentioned the FOV gets really small, and you can wander all over the sky looking for your target.  I used the Pany 100-300 plus monopod at a large airshow last year, and it worked fine.  For airshows, monopods are better as they take up less space.  Easier on your arms, too.

I think the new Oly 75-300, with its reduced price, is a great option.  However, as other posters have noted, the 4/3s 70-300 is a great deal, and a 1/2 stop faster, if I recall. You didn't mention what camera you're using.  That's the other major element.  If you're using an Oly, it doesn't matter.  If you're using a Pany, then you really will want the 100-300 with its integral OIS.
