Not many periods in history are well recorded. What did the average person do in their daily life, what was it like?

So street photography is capturing the essence of daily life for many people and at some point in the future it would give a clear idea as to what life was like during this period of history.

These bunch of invasive  unconsidered "Peeping Tom" voyeurs  are historians. Wow!!!.

This describes the fine line that distinguishes the artist from the dabbler. There are defiinitely photographers out there who capture the essence of the moment, of daily life, with their pictures in an interesting way.

And then, there you are right, are many who just click away without showing anything of interest in their pictures, and are very inconsiderate in what they are showing, especially if people are involved.
