New to me K5 is here with a shocking shutter count

My K5, graded EX, arrived form KEH.  I charged the battery, put in and formatted an SD card and played with the settings, took a few test pics to get used to the feel, etc.  You know the drill.

Well today I decided to check the shutter count.  I used photome on my computor plus two online sites such as shuttercount.  Before I jump in the air and shout about how the previous owner was too foolish to not give the K5 a chance before selling it, is there a  way to learn the shutter count on the camera itself?  I know you can do this with the Olympus Evolte line of DSLR's.

All three programs told me the shutter count is 1,513.
