High ISOS : M4/3 < APS-C < FF ?

Yes, which is kind of the point ... in many situations the ocmplete blow out does not appear. And in fact, I suspect that there are few situations where you could get everyone to agree that you need one of the top sensors to function.

Ergo, they are very nice to have ... but hardly essential.

Art the high ISO, ISO 6400, where we are talking about according to DxO there is not too much difference.

Yes, they all do fairly well up there, which is a big surprise if you look at where sensors were half a decade ago.

But in total, if we take everything into account the ISO100-800 or 1600 performance of the newer m43 16 MPIxel sensors and the older (panasonic) ones is notable (G5 and Gh2) or in some cases huge (GX1).

For some of you, that would appear to be the case, yes.
