what you meant to say is:

you can use virtually any lens on a nex including thousands of canon/nikon/leica/zeiss/olympus lenses as well as the newly designed native zeiss lenses.

If you want backward compatilibity to older lenses, a Pentax DSLR is the system of choice - itz can use any K-mount lens.

the tri-nav controls on the nex 7 allow better control than most dlsrs, and nex cameras have more options/features than most dlsrs.

The best thing here is the system the user is familiar with used to....
