too bad but left eye users are a tiny minority.

I don't think so : I saw a statistic once and there are far more left eye shooters than left handed persons (may be that is so because left hand persons are educated to use their right hand when it comes to learn writing at school). But if I remember correctly that tiny minority of left eye shooters amount to something like one third, which isn't what I'd name a tiny minority.

The left eye is wired to the right side of the brain, which is the creative side of the brain. It makes sense that many visually creative people prefer to compose with the left eye.

Yes, left hand/left eye is 30-40% of he population.

I'm left eyed and left handed, except I was forced to switch eyes for photography by astigmatism in the left eye.

I support the notion of putting the EVF in the left hand top corner. That will be great for 60-70% of users. My believe is that it will make no difference for the left eye users who have their noses stuck in the screen whether the EVF is left hand corner or more central. In fact, they would be better off, I believe, with a left hand EVF -- it would move parts of their faces away from the control area where their fingers have to be.

Also also why not have a left hand EVF that can be tilted like the various accessory EVFs?

The VF4 looks like a big fat thing that is even bigger than the VF2. Ridiculous.

Cheers, geoff
