The other day I pitted my D600 against my work's 6D to see how much of a difference there was in "image quality". Contrary to popular belief the 6D, or at least this version, does have oil spots as well. The 6d, with less than 1000 acctuations, had 2 oil spots while the D600, which has slightly over 3000, had about 6. They were more faint than the D600's which made them very easy to miss, but they were there and I was only shooting at f11.

So as an earlier member mentioned, ignorance is indeed bliss. I know all cameras are gonna have some oil and dust eventually, but it makes me wonder if the 6D is just lucky enough to have all the attention drawn away by the "dust" storm at the Nikon factories.
