LOL - We must think alike because I went through same scenario except I started off with D5100. D600 is an awesome camera despite design flaw and or oil/dust issues. I've not had luck with mine though, even after cleaning sensor myself. I'm now waiting for new replacement to be sent out to me by Nikon service.
