Yep as you say stuff happens. I fortunately had enough equipment for it not to bother me (After the initial outburst). I was also angry with myself for not taking heed of the warning about the E-5 strap. Fortunately I got away with that one. I was also peeved about the Eyecap , why Olympus did not release the E-5 with the EP-9 is beyond me. It has more padding and fits much better.

As to the minimalist images this is the beauty of Namibia with its stark barren areas any subject even shapes can become a composition. Its actually quite nice to work with uncluttered areas for a change.
