Olympus' answer to the Sony HX50 ?

Olympus used to be the leaders in optical zoom.

From the C700 world's smallest 10x optical zoom camera, to being the temporary leaders with the 36x zoom of the SP-810UZ, to the class leading 24x pocket zoom SZ-30MR.. until now.  The Sony HX50 has taken the crown with its 24 - 720mm 30x zoom.

Is Olympus no longer participating in this race?
