Don't forget that if you shoot an image in JPEG you can always open it in ACR, when using both Elements and Photoshop.

Go to 'File' - 'Open As' - 'Camera Raw, ( from the list of optional formats that appear at the bottom of the screen ) - then choose your image. You get most of the options available in ACR - when shooting a RAW image - white balance is restricted, and if it is an image that you might like to work on in the future you can 'save As' a Tiff file and reduce the amount of degradation that occurs when working on JPEG's, during multiple sessions
