I have had replaced my :

e-410 for bad sensor (red line across all pictures)

E3 (was repaired 3 times but they delivered it to someone else the last time so i was told to keep the new one i borrowed while mine was repaired)

12-60 lens stuck at some zoom distance

35-100 jumping image when zooming (i.e something loose inside).

From the 2 panny and 4 oly m43 cameras i have owned i have had the OMD fixed for cracked LCD frame.

Now that's rotten bad luck .

Maybe I got all the good ones and you got all the bad ones?

Seriously though, I have had plenty of stuff that has had to be returned/replaced. Often immediately after purchase ... Leaves a very bad taste, and is often extremely frustrating.

Sometimes seriously expensive items, like a new car on one occasion in the early 1970s. It took about 18 months and considerable mutterings about having to pursue the matter through legal channels before everything was eventually fixed. That was over 40 years ago, when there were all but none of the consumer protection laws that exist today. The good old Sale of Goods Act is still very useful - "Goods must be of merchantable quality and reasonably fit for the purpose for which they are sold."

Used that provision just 2 weeks ago ...

So I do both sympathise and empathise with your experiences.
