It is a great camera if you do not mind the size and the weight.  Downside is it is slow, clunky, has a very small LCD and if you plan on doing printing larger then about 10X14, forget it.  Upside-it has a very unique color palette that is very appealing.  I loved the colors and the film like quality of the files.  Of all the digital cameras I have ever owned, it had the best (in my eyes) color.  Also, because of the low resolution, less expensive glass produced very nice images.  I married mine to the 18-200 and captured great images.
