is the af any faster with the new fw revision?

NX300 firmware 1.0 seems pretty fast focusing, if you are in good light with the larger aperture lenses.  I need to do some more testing side by side with the NX20.  I know on my X20 I am reviewing it only uses the PDAF sensors in certain modes, like AF-C or when you mash the shutter all the way down.  If you just half press on the X20 it always uses CDAF as far as I can tell.  My point here is that I don't know how NX300 behaves yet.  I will say touch AF and take shot (one touch shot or something) with my 45mm f/1.8 is very fast outdoors in good light (fraction of a second).

I especailly agree on the "I do not know how the NX300 behaves" as tracking e.g. is working fine but you can only activate it with the touch AND you need to reactivate it when it looses the target. It as well works fine when you zoom in/out or move the camera even in bad/low light with the AF light on but it takes still awhile to focus finally when releasing the shutter.

I am assuming that the PDAF is only active with that tracking and the AF-C. I cannot imagine it to work in any other mode.
