You need to stand back quite a way, so the real photogrpaher can take the real pictures, without having amateurs standing in the way.

A 70-200 would work well on a so-called crop camera at the 70 mm end for full length two-person portraits, and the 100-150 range would be good for a horizontal upper body two-shot.

For a so-called full frame camera, you've probably got a normallens thatwouldworkfine for the vertical full length shot, and a focal lengthin the100-135mm rangeshouldlet you stay outof the way for the horizontal two-shot.
