Re: One or two SSDs for Lightroom laptop

I am running c: on an 80GB Intel SSD, d: and e: are disks, and f: is another 80GB Intel SSD.

The swap file, Temp Internet files, PS CS cache, Camera Raw cache, and Bridge cache are on f:

Windows and PS are hitting c:, it makes sense to me to use a second channel and whatever mobo buffers there are for swap.

I didn't compare to using a single SSD, but I did compare to just a 3-disk system.  For a long-running PS action, there was a small improvement.  The real speed comes in building the image cache.

Contrary to an above post, even with my OLD Intels, SSD lifetime is not significantly affected.  Intel SSD Toolbox tells me I have more than 15 years of lifetime left after 4 years of heavy home use.
