I've just received my new Canon 24-70mm F2.8 II and to my surprise it came with the old style front cap.
I thought Canon was going to start shipping lenses with pinch caps.
My lens's serial number starts with 950.
I don't know if I received old stock or this lens still does not come with a pinch cap.
Did your 24-70II come with a pinch cap?
Mine arrived last month with the old style cap. I have an 82mm pinch cap on order with amazon who has zero stock. I also asked BH to notify me when they had stock and they did already notify last week. I didn't cancel my Amazon order though so I am still pinch-cap-less.
